Google Business Profile management tools for freelancers: what to look for
Google Business Profile management tools for freelancers are priced by profile, location or user, and Localo Pro 10 covers up to 10 client profiles at $69 a month billed monthly, as read on October 30, 2026. Four things separate the tools for client work.
- Client access without shared logins. Google says each user needs a Google Account of their own, so passwords are never shared.
- White-label reports that carry your logo.
- One review inbox across every client, which Localo calls the Reviews manager.
- Google's ownership rule: clients keep ownership or co-ownership.
Google's own free route has a gap here. Its Gemini connection for drafting replies and posts is not available to anyone with access to more than one verified profile.

Client access and white-label reports
Localo invites clients as Guests, not as team members. Guests sign in on a white-label portal, and you choose which profiles each guest can see. Reports can carry your logo and a sender email of your choice. Localo drafts each report on your schedule, and you approve it before it goes out by email, shared link or PDF.
The Reports manager, which handles all clients at once, is Pro and Enterprise. So are the Reviews manager and bulk posting. Localo does not bill your clients for you: its help center says it offers no white-label billing or automated monthly charges.
One Localo workspace is one subscription, and its help center says to create a new workspace only to separate users, data and billing completely. A client billed separately therefore needs a workspace and a subscription of its own. How to manage multiple Google Business Profiles covers the Google side.
Optimization seats and what a sixth client gets
An optimization seat is a profile that also gets weekly tasks, audits and the AI agent; every connected profile gets rank tracking, visibility and statistics. Pro gives seats to half its profiles. Six client profiles fit Pro 10, whose 5 seats leave one profile monitored only.
A seat you switch off becomes available again after your next billing date, so moving a seat from one client to another waits for the next billing period. Localo pricing lists the four Pro sizes.
Google's rules for managing client profiles
Google's policy for people who manage profiles for clients says every client keeps ownership or co-ownership at all times. Ask a client who already has a profile to invite you as a manager, not as an owner, never share passwords, and tell clients about every change. A client can take control back within 7 business days of notice.
If you charge a management fee, Google requires you to tell clients that Business Profile is a service provided at no extra cost. The same policy says automated actions that discard suggested updates without consulting the merchant break Google's terms, so ask the owner first. Localo vs Local Dominator sets the two plan families side by side.
A freelancer can start Localo's 14-day trial with no card, though each client profile can be trialed only once.
